Another Year Down...

Yes, it's that time of the year again, the time that Nintendo decides to release another Pokemon game, the time that seemingly everyone has their birthdays...and the time that I actually update again. *shot*

So, at 3:33 AM this morning, I have officially been alive for an entire two decades. The big two-oh. I am no longer a teenager. Long story short, I'm finally 20 years old. So far, it really doesn't feel that different from being nineteen, although it does feel weird calling myself "twenty." Like everything else, my birthday kind of snuck up on me. What's weirder, is that my birthday coincided with the due date of my ENG 395 paper. Sucks, huh?

Ah well, enough about that; let's move onto the stuff that you actually care about, but I'll intersperse it within stuff that I just want to tell you about (because I'm a jerk like that). I'm sure that all of you noticed my very regular update schedule since Chapter 56, and thus have noticed the month's lapse between 63 and what will be the last, 64. I assure you, I have a perfectly legitimate excuse for that, and it came out on March 6th. Originally, I had never planned to actually pick up Pokemon Black. But, after I spent some time looking through the 5th gen critters, several of them began growing on me. More specifically, Serperior and Cinccino, both of which I took all the way through the Elite Four. Since I beat the E4, I've been busy breeding a Sandstorm team to take me back into competitive playing. I'll be posting my Friend Code later in this journal entry, for those that want to take a STAB (<-lol, Pokeymanz joke) at me.

To those whom it may concern, I'm still playing Yu-gi-oh, and I'm most likely going to be attending the Regional tournament coming up soon. I don't know how many of my fellow deviants are close enough to attend, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

More recently, my friends have turned me on to a game called League of Legends. For the less-informed amongst you, allow me to enlighten you. It is a real-time battle simulation quite akin to Starcraft. I never thought that I could actually play a game like that, but I have, and it's quite enjoyable. Again, if there are any of you out there that want to play it up, just add me up.

Now then, I'll finally get to the stuff that you care about. Later tonight, I plan to finish up the last 1/4 of Chapter 64 and officially finish up Shattered Truths. (Yes, I totally planned to finish ST on my birthday, I'm just that pro.) Thanks to all of you that have wished me "Happy Birthday" thus far, as well. 'Tis much appreciated.
