Yes, as of the 23rd of December, I have officially been, how you say, "Munked". Most of you should know that I work at my local movie theater (and have been there for the last two years). To those of you that didn't know that, get off your keisters and go read some of my older journals. Now, to those who watch TV, I'm sure that you noticed what came out on the 23rd; Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. As it happened, I was working that day, and I was able to get a good eyeful of the titular Chipmunks, and their newly-introduced female counterparts, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor, otherwise collectively known as the Chipettes. I instantly fell in love with the latter three, especially Brittany. (Yes, I'll admit that that's a little bit of my furry side coming through, but hey, what'cha gonna do?) Expect a Brittany themed wallpaper here soon, after I get off my lazy butt to upload it.

I also instantly took to the movie's music, and went out and bought a $25 iTunes gift card, then bought the soundtracks to both movies. That's pretty much what I've been listening to for the past two weeks. My favorite (and most played) song from the two albums is the Chipettes' rendition of Hot N' Cold, which I think is better than the original. Heck, I'd listen to pretty much anything if those three sang it. In that time period, I've also seen The Squeakquel a grand total of six times (and I still enjoy it, thank you very much), and I plan to make it seven times tomorrow.

Right, so that covers my newest obsession. We move now into the list of what I got for Christmas. Like past years, I knew Christmas was coming, but wasn't foaming at the mouth while I waited for it to come. Nonetheless, I was quite happy with my gifts. The majority of my gifts consisted of more techie-stuff for my laptop, such as a cooling pad (which works wonders, especially while playing Oblivion, my other recent interest), an 8GB Micro SDHC card for my BlackBerry Pearl (yep, between this journal and my last one, I got myself a shiny new cell phone), and last, but certainly not least, an equally shiny 1TB (terabyte, for those of you who are not overly computer-savvy) external hard drive. I also received a brand-spankin' new pen and pencil set. Not that exciting, you say? Let me put it this way, I like this pencil so much that it will eventually replace my two-year old, tried-and-true fanfiction pencil.

Well, since that's out of the way, we can now get to the stuff you really care about. Shattered Truths is now entering the start of its second year here on DA. Let the good times ring, because you'll love this news; in as little as five chapters, we could be seeing Shattered Truths at its climax, and also the point at which the mysterious prophecy we've known about since the end of A Sapphire Shines in Sinnoh will finally be unraveled.

With all of this good news, a little bad news must also come. Sadly, my Christmas vacation has run its course, and I must return to college this Saturday. Ah well, such is the course of the lives we lead. "Like sands through an hourglass, so too are the Days of Our Liv-*shot*"

Not much has changed since my last journal entry, except that I've headed off to college. Wait, I guess that would be a pretty big thing, wouldn't it?

Yup, you heard me right. I'm off at college. Couldn't you tell, from my distinct lack of updates? Then again, I don't need college in my way to stop me from updating, now do I? *shot*

Horrible jokes aside, I gotta say, I do quite enjoy the college life. My dorm is quite spacious; a decently sized family room, two bedrooms, that, when combined, are about the size of the aforementioned family room. For entertainment, we have a Wii, an Xbox 360, a PS2, and a good old N64. However, before you start getting all jealous on me, let me tell you this: roommates are crazy bizness. Frsrs.

Case in point: My three roommates plus the two girls that seem to live here because they're both infatuated with one of my roommates are playing strip poker in the living room. I'm in my bedroom. Yeah, I said strip poker. Call me old-fashioned, but I don't believe that seeing my friends/roommates in their skivvies (or less) is very good for one's friendship. Now, on to explaining my journal title. I have come to the assumption that college life is much like a sitcom. The reason: those two girls I mentioned earlier have apparently had their fair share of spats over one of my roommates. Think Rosalyn, Squall, and Meranti from Shattered Truths.

Ah well, here's to hoping that things peter out and return to some sense of normalcy. Until next time.

Ummm...Rosalyn. I don't know if this counts as a "nickname", but my parents often call me their "little rose", on account of a flower that my father once found. However, I've never actually seen one, so I don't know how they came by that.

2. Interesting... what's your current age?

Three months; the same as my twin sister, Saffron.

3. Uh huh. What's your favourite food?

Cheri berries, or any kind of spicy berry, actually.

4. And your favourite drink?

There are other things to drink than water? Well, I suppose you could count that formula my sister and I were given during the time we spent at the Pokemon Center after we were born, but...I don't really remember much of what it tasted like...

5. Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?

*blushing hotly* H-his name is Squall...

Kissed? I-I don't know what that is, so I can't answer yes or no...

I've never really thought about that sort of thing before. If I had to pick one, though, I would be tempted to say dark blue, like my mother's eyes. I've always thought that they were very beautiful.

8. Who's your favourite author?

Author? Again, I don't know what one of those is...

9. Now what's your biggest fear?

Losing one of the Pokemon closest to me, like my sister, father, or mother.

I don't see any humor in telling you that I'm afraid of losing my loved ones. That's not funny at all.

My mother; I've always admired her. She's so beautiful, but if she needs to, she can take on an opponent twice her size. I wish I could be more like that... I'm too timid to fight any other Pokemon...

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?

Worst enemy? I don't really have one; I'm not the kind to hold a grudge against others. However, the Pokemon I dislike the more would have to be Chromos; the things that he's done to Ash, me, and probably countless other Pokemon are admittedly horrible. Still, I wouldn't wish harm upon him in any way.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?

While I'm not the kind to wish or inflict harm on another Pokemon, my mother isn't like that. If she were to know the things that Chromos has done, to me, she wouldn't be nearly as forgiving as I would.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?

If my creator were anything like my owner, Eric, I'd be more than happy to meet him.

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?

I love taking care of kits, so I'd like...to be a mother myself...

16. What's your worst nightmare?

The same thing as my worst fear. Don't make me think about something like that...

17. What's your lifelong dream?

I'd love to have kits of my own. Three of them, if that doesn't sound too crazy... However, I don't know if that'll ever happen; I'm the only one that doesn't seem to hate Squall. Both my father and sister think he's the worst Pokemon they've ever known...

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?

I would be so happy! Having kits of my own would be such an amazing feeling!

19. Ok, where's your favorite place to relax?

The nursery at the Daycare; I love the warmth of it, the soft grass nests there, and all of the smells there remind me of when I was a little kit.

20. Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?

Before I left the Daycare to go and look for my mother, I loved spending time in the nursery, playing with Bracken, the kit of one of my father's uncles, Swiftclaw.

ANOTHER NEWS UPDATE: I-I've breached 10,000 pageviews...

Yes, it's me; I finally decided it was time to get off my lazy Rohan-playing, Rosario + Vampire-watching butt and make a new journal entry.

Needless to say, quite a few things have happened during the near three-month span since my last entry, the biggest of which was my graduation from high school. You would think that such a monumentous occasion would warrant some type of party, correct?

Correct.

The Saturday after my graduation, I held a Brawl party at my house to end all Brawl parties. Nearly all of my friends came, and we went absolutely nuts. The guest list consisted of:

brought his extensive knowledge of Kirby, MK, and DDD.
attended, packing two bow-wielding characters: Pit and Toon Link.
also came. However, she didn't partake in the Brawl festivities. I was still glad that she came, though.
Well duh... Of course I was there, making challengers earn any wins against me.

Outside of my DA friends:

My future college roommate came in throwing Zelda's Lightning Kicks left and right. (I still don't know how he hits with them so well.)

My old next-door neighbor came as well, his stunning abilities with Ike in no short supply.

*If I forgot anyone, I sincerely apologize; I was having too much fun to really pay any extensive amount of attention.*

Now that all of that's out of the way, onto all of the other things that have happened:

1. While school was winding down, I fell in love with the Rosario + Vampire series. I've finished watching the first season, I'm currently working on the second season, and I have all seven currently released volumes of the manga, which I find better than the anime. That usually seems to be a theme, I've noticed. That's not to say that I don't like the anime, though. I still do.

2. After school ended, I discovered the MMORPG Rohan: Blood Feud, and fell in love with that. At the moment, my main, a level 35 Elf named SapphireRose (Yes, I play as a female. Remember, though, I do main Peach in Brawl), is currently in the GuardianAngels guild on the Torian server (If any of you out there play Rohan as well.).

3. After much waiting, I finally got my own laptop. With a 2.4 Ghz processor, 4GB of RAM, a 512MB video card, not to mention a 320GB hard drive, it runs like greased lightning, a scalded cat, or whatever hackneyed metaphor you can think of.

That's all I've got to say. If you actually read all of that, I commend you for having quite the attention span.

First, the stuff you guys really want to hear. Chapter 42 has been finished. Expect it tomorrow. Er...today, rather.

Second: You know those things that happen once every year? Y'know, birthdays? Yeah, about that... Mine is in about forty-five minutes, or, more precisely, 3:33 a.m. on March 25th. I'm wanting to stay up until then...but...I don't think I'm going to make it...

Thirdly: I've already gotten some presents for this aforementioned birthday; the complete collection of Utawarerumono(which I still can't pronounce correctly *flails*) and the first season of Home Improvement. You know that something's strange when your mom lets you order your own birthday gift online with her credit card, like Utawarerumono. *shot* I also got the second manga volume of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya on March 18, though I don't consider that a gift, per se, because I had to pay for it.
